A President left the office, and entire America yelled, “Finally!”

After causing several disruptions in the long standing Democracy of the United States and topping it with violent riots in his last days, Donald Trump managed to change much of his supporters to haters. However, one of his international business partners continues to stick by his side.

Dubai’s billionaire and the chairman of property developer firm DAMAC, Hussain Sajwani recently stated that he still wishes to expand the relations with the Trump Organization. Despite the Trump’s role in the Capitol Hill riots, Sajwani is “very, very happy” in maintaining his business ties. “We have a great relationship with the Trump Organisation and be assured, we have absolutely no intention to cancel our agreement,” Sajwani said.

Trump and DAMAC stand as partners on an 18-hole golf course and club in Dubai, which was opened in 2017. The Trump Organization is associated with the Dubai firm, yet again, in building a second 18-hole golf course, called the Trump World Golf Club.

Since the insurrection on Capitol Hill, Trump has been extensively criticized for stoking the violent siege. Several companies distanced themselves from doing more business with him, including the Deutsche Bank (DB). The New York City has also been seeking to terminate the Trump Organization’s contracts to operate the Central Park Carousel, the Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point, as well as the Wollman and Lasker ice skating rinks.

Additionally, all the personal accounts of Trump have been closed by the Signature Bank. The former US President has also been barred from various social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and others. Besides, the 2022 championship of the PGA that was planned to be played at the Trump’s Bedminster golf course was also cancelled.

However, Dubai’s businessman said the partnership between DAMAC and the Trump Organization would be expanded. “I will go further, as the [Trump] organisation will no longer be restricted to doing additional deals overseas in the future, I would welcome the opportunity of expanding our relationship with the brand and looking for more ways where we can collaborate,” Sajwani said.

The strong stance that the Dubai’s businessman is still sticking to, speaks of the multiple benefits that the Emirates has been receiving under, and might continue to receive after, Donald Trump’s presidency.
